| Video Discription | Today in Virtual vlogs by ramya we prepared a very very simple and quick rice recipe lemon rice/nimmakaya pulihora/chitranna/nimbu rice. It can be served as breakfast or for lunch box.In this video we may learn how to make this recipe tastier as well as easier. Below are the steps for preparation : Ingredients Required - Oil Rice( cool it for 30 minutes atleat) mustard seeds Cumin seeds Ground nuts chana dal sesame Seeds Curry leaves Turmeric Lemon Coriander Steps : Add Oil as per rice quantity 4-5 table spoons and heat it. Add 1 tea spoon of mustard seeds , Cumin seeds and fry it for 30 seconds Next add 2-3 spoons of ground nuts and fry the until the color gets changed into brown color. Add 2 spoons of chana dal which is also known as bengal gram to have some nutty taste, 3-4 green chilies ( Chilli quantity varies based on your interest), 2-3 spoons of Sesame Seeds, few curry leaves . Sauté of all of these in medium flame . Next add some turmeric, salt(as per your taste) , mix them gently for 20 seconds and turn off the flame.. Add this mixture in precooked rice which was left to cool down and add 1-2 medium sized lemon juice Mix all of them gently and finally garnish with some chopped coriander , serve it.. |
