| Video Discription | August 2022. We start early to visit Óbidos before the crowds of tourists descend upon the city. It's well worth getting up early for, to have this magical medieval walled city all to yourself... and see one of the amazing castles of Portugal! We walk the impressive walls of Obidos. Not for the faint hearted as they are high and the lack of safety barriers make it a trifle scary in places. It's a wonderful place to admire the stunning castle and the picturesque town from the ancient walls. We also sample Ginja, the local cherry brandy, we take a stroll through time to see the old cobbled streets of Obidos, it's churches and important buildings.
