We spent an evening with this African Siddi Tribals who lives in Karnataka's forest. The chutney tasted sour, hot, and pungent. They also mixed the chutney and taro roots to prepare something like a porridge. The African Siddi tribes in Karnataka believes that the ant chutney helps to boost immunity. The combination of simple African Siddi style chicken curry, taro root porridge, ant chutney, and sautéed taro leaf with boiled rice was good. #africaninindia #sidditribe #africansidditribe #indianafrican |
