| Video Discription | Warm Welcome to our channel - Todays Reciepe Bele Obbattu - Ingredients: Tur dal/arhar dal/split pegion peas-750grams Jaggery-750grams Water-2ltrs Saunf/fennel seeds-4tsp Poppy seeds-4tsp Seeds of 15 Cardamom Maida/all purpose flour-500grams Turmeric powder-1tsp Oil-5tsp Water Process: Pour 2ltrs water in a vessel & let it boil. Put tur dal/arhar dal/split pegion peas into boiling water. Let it cook till 80%.drain the excess water. Put jaggery in water & cook till it melts. Pour jaggery syrup into tur dal/split pegion peas. Roast saunf, poppy seeds & cardamom seeds. Grind roasted spices into fine powder & put it into dal-jaggery mixture. Cook for 30 minutes & let it cool down a bit. Grind the mixture into fine paste. Making a dough: Take 1/2 kg maida/all purpose flour, add 1 tsp turmeric powder & add water gradually to make very soft dough. Grease oil on dough & let it rest for 30 minutes. Making of vabbatu: Take a plastic sheet, tap some dough & jaggery sweet to make a thin chapati like structure. Put some oil on tawa & cook on tawa till golden brown. Vabbatu/puran poli is ready ...
