| Video Discription | Chitranna -Lemon Rice, quick lunch/tiffin box for office & school Chitranna -Lemon rice is a staple in many South Indian homes amazingly delicious & refreshing dish it’s very easy to make if you have leftover rice with a tempering mustard seeds, urad & chana dal, spices, peanuts & curry leaves lots of lemon juice Enjoy with papad, pickle, curd. Ingredients 2 lime juice Ingredients 2.5 glass cooked leftovers rice Garnish coriander leaves SEASONING 4 tbsp oil/ghee 2 tsp mustard seeds Handful Chana dal Handful urad dal Handful peanuts 1 spring curry leaves 1 fry chilli ROASTED POWDER 2 tbsp whole coriander seeds 1 tbsp cumin seeds -Slightly toast coriander & cumin seeds coarsely powder using mortar & pestle COOK RICE -1 cup rice wash, rice & soak for half an hour Cook the rice till done & then fluff up the grain Or If you have left rice even better -Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds let it pop, add Chana dal, urad dal, red chilli sauté till fragrant golden, add peanut fry until crunchy -Add chopped onion, green chilies, curry leaves stir until you get nice aroma -Add cold rice, turmeric powder give a good stir, now add sprinkle crushed toasted coriander & cumin seeds, squeeze lime juice toss well -Adjust and add more salt and lime juice if required, Garnish with coriander leaves -Enjoy with pickles, papad, curd Frenchware (Set of 2) Large Spatula & Large Spoon, Non-Stick Silicone Spatula Set for Cooking -https://amzn.to/3q2q5EN Pigeon non-stick cookware https://amzn.to/45RGxqJ |
