| Video Discription | This video shows how to make simple and spicy kara pori (masala puffed rice). Kara pori is an easy evening time snack. In those days, our parents used to prepare simple snacks like kara pori, pori urundai, pori vilanga urundai. Nowadays we just want to try something new and different but we forget our own traditional healthy snacks. If you want to try our traditional forgotten recipes, kindly do watch our channel "ammi chutney". KARA PORI PREPARATION METHOD: Fry ground nut and roasted gram. For tempering add a spoon of oil in a pan, add mustard. Add dried chilly, curry leaves and asafoetida. Switch off the stove then add turmeric powder, chilly powder and required salt. Mix it and then add puffed rice & mix it. Now switch on the stove and mix everything in low flame. Add fried ground nut and roasted gram. Mix it for few minutes. Once the puffed rice get crispy, switch off the stove. Allow it Cool for some time then store it in air tight bottle. Now our tasty masala kara pori is ready to be served as evening snack.
