| Video Discription | In this video, microneurosurgical clipping of MCA aneurysm is presented. Upper video shows the inadequate sphenoid ridge resection. Lower video shows the correct technique. Both videos belong to the same operative session of the same patient. At the beginning, upper video, aneurysm was exposed under inadequate sphenoid ridge resection. The operation zone is narrow and maneuverability of the surgical tools are limited. In lower video, following correct sphenoid ridge resection, it is clearly seen that entire surgical disadvantages were not present. Operative zone was larger enough for clip reconstruction and proximal control as well. |
