| Video Discription | Another day at the AGC, Austin Gynecomastia Center - Dr. Caridi, commonly known as Dr. C is excited about his patient who has been following him online since he was 13 years old. He has had gynecomastia since he was a kid and hasn’t shown anybody his chest since he was a teenager. This is a big deal because he is 25 years old and hasn’t shown his parents, siblings, girlfriend, friends, anybody what he has been silently dealing with for so many years. That changes today. He emotionally expresses how he would wear jackets and layers of clothes to hide his gynecomastia. He would say he didn’t know how to swim just to avoid the stares of wearing his clothes in the pool. If breast tissue is disproportionate to the rest of the body, you could say it is worse than gynecomastia that is hidden in patients who carry more weight to “hide” the gynecomastia. It is all relative. In this case, we will capture the typical gynecomastia treatment- Vaser liposuction and excision of chest tissue - but will focus on the process of getting the mind right on top of getting rid of the gynecomastia itself. Hopefully this will hit a nerve with viewers to help you understand that the only way to treat gynecomastia is to remove it - not all the motions, lotions, and potions of the internet. He wishes you didn’t have to go to the doctor. He wishes he could give you pill, or give you a magic wand, but it really doesn’t work that way. Dr. Caridi’s approach after treatment is to help you fix yourself. Go and do the things that were anxiety provoking before - take your shirt off. Go to the pool. What we need to do is when you see yourself in the mirror every morning, first thing, you look at yourself and you say, “I rock. I mean, I rock!” So let’s get rid of this [gynecomastia]. Five days later, our wonderful patient came in for his post-op visit and the results are amazing - minimal swelling, no bruising, and no gynecomastia. His next goal is to put this all behind him, and live his life how he should - with confidence and happiness. Our patient hopes that his journey can help those out there who have suffered from this just like he has. “Get it done. I see you suffering. I see you working out every single day.
