It is a special dish offered as naivedyam not only during vinayaka chavithi but also during other andhra festivals. The recipe shared here will give you a delicious, thick and creamy with soft pala thalikalu. I got many requests for this recipe, finally today i am preparing my moms recipe. I have tried so many times but i didn’t got full perfect shape any time. When i am doing this procedure, every time i am getting thalikalu in soft perfect without breaking in shape and creamy too. So i want to share this recipe today and enjoy for you coming vinayaka chavithi. Ingredients: Rice 1 kg (to make rice flour) Rice flour 1 cup Jaggery :250 grams Warm milk 1/4 th cup for mixing dough Water 2 cups Raw milk 1cup Soaked sabudana 1/4 th cup Crushed Cardamom Cashew nuts Raisins Ghee Preparation process: To prepare wet rice flour,Here i am taking 1 kg rice,wash the rice and soak it in water for whole night, after straining it let it dry for 5 to 10 minutes in a sieve. Now when rice is neither dry nor wet, grind it fine powder. You can keep it in an air tight container and preserve it for a month. Take a bowl and add 1 cup rice flour, now take a Kadai add 1/4 cup of jaggery to dissolve it add 1/4 cup water mix it properly. Once it dissolves now strain it and add to rice flour. mix it well and also add warm milk to prepare a dove. Now take a small size of dove ball and prepare thalikallu as shown video. Now take a deep kadai add water for steaming and now tie a cloth to the kadai add prepared thalikalu into it, cover with lid and steam for 5 to 10 mins. Once it done now take one deep kadai add 2 cups of water into it add 1/4 cup of soaked sabudana. Now add 1 cup of milk and boil it on low flame. Once milk came to the boil now add steamed thalikallu into it. Now in the mean time take a pan add 250gms of Jaggery, add sufficient amount of water dissolve it and strain it. Now add this strained Jaggery water into the palathalikalu preparation, mix it properly and add crushed cardamom and ghee Fried cashews and raisins. Now in a small bowl take 1tsp rice flour add few drops of water make into smooth paste and add this into palathalikalu preparation.
