No need to soak . immediately you can switch on the stove and cook until 5 whistles 3. switch off the stove at 5th whistle Note: pongal should be mash. sothat we cook until 5 whistles 4. allow to cool pressure cooker 5.After pressure released in pressure cooker, open the lid and mash the mixture with spatula slightly 6. Now keep aside and tempering to be done 7. again switch on the stove and place a small pan for tempering 8. pour ghee and wait until melt it 9. first add black pepper corns 10. after that add cumin seeds 11. After that add chopped ginger pieces 12 . after that add chopped green chilley 13. after that add cashew splits 14. after fry the cashew splits, switch off the stove and add tempering to the cooked mixture and mix well 15. pongal is ready 16. sambar and ginger chutney is the best combination to pongal recipe 17. pongal is a prasadam recipe also 18. we can serve pongal as a breakfast recipe also 19. very easy recipe and tasty also 20. quick breakfast recipe also Thanks for watching my channel |
