Curry Leaves 2. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 3. 1/2 tsp pepper 4. Required amount of Cashews 5. Required amount of Almonds 6. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 7. Required amount of Salt 8. 1 tsp Pepper Powder 9. 1 pinch of Hing 10. 2 tsp Ghee 11. OIL 12. 1/2 Cup Moong Dal 13. 1 Cup Rice TEMPERING 1 Add Moong Dal and Rice in to Cooker 2. Wash the Well 3. Add 4 1/2 Cup of water ( Ration 1:3) 4. Add Turmeric powder /Cumin Seeds /Pepper Powder /Salt and One pinch of Hing 5. Add 2 tsp Oil and Mix it well. 6. Add required amount of salt 7. Switch off the flame after for 4 whistles 8.Wait for 15 -mints to release the pressure and remove the lid 9.Mash the same Tampering 1. Heat the pan and add 1 tsp oil 2. Add 2 tsp ghee 3. Now Add almond pieces / cashew nut / pepper and Cumin seeds and fry the same well 4. Add hing /Curry Leaves and now switch off the flame . 5. Transfer the tampering into pongal 6.Mix it well 7.
