Hi, I am Sunita, welcome to our you tube channel Home Recipes Plus. About this video- Phulka and Ghadichi Poli is a Indian flat bread recipe. This video shows an easy way to make Phulaka and Ghadichi Poli. It is very soft and prepared using Wheat flour. It requires very few ingredients and can be prepared in no time. Let’s see how to make simple and quick recipe of Phulka and Ghadichi Poli . Ingredients: - Wheat flour – 1 cup - Salt – ½ tsp or to taste - Oil – 2 tsp - Ghee – 1 to 2 tbsp - Wheat flour/ Maida – ½ cup (for dusting) Method :- 1.Take 1 cup of wheat flour and ½ teaspoon salt in a big mixing bowl. Mix well, add water in small portions to prepare soft dough. 2.Once your dough is ready then smoothen it by adding little oil. Knead the dough well for 3 to 4 minutes until it smoothes. If the dough is still stiff, add oil accordingly. Once ready, cover and keep it aside for 15 minutes to set. 3.After 15 minutes are done, grease your hands with some oil and smoothen the dough again to make it soft. 4.To make roti,take small lumps from the dough. Roll the lump into round dough ball and flatten it a little. 5.Dust the dough ball with dry wheat flour and roll out the roti clockwise from the edges . When the roti sticks to the rolling board, dust the roti with wheat flour again and roll out. Meanwhile heat a tawa on flame for roasting the roti. 6.Gently lift the roti from the rolling board and place it on the tawa. Roast the roti for few seconds and then flip the side and let it roast until it gets little brown spots beneath. 7. When you see little brown spots on this side, roast the roti directly on the flame. 8. Apply some ghee on the roasted roti. For this, pour some ghee over it and rub the rotis to each other to spread the ghee evenly. 9. For roasting chapattis on the tawa, roast the roti on both the sides then flip the side and press down with a ladle until it puffs up and brown spots appears. 10.You can also store the chapattis directly inside the casserole. Place the cotton napkins inside the casserole. Store the chapattis inside the casserole once the chapattis are cool down. Place the chapattis inside the casserole and cover. 11.Serve these steaming hot Rotis with any Indian curry or stir fried sabzi. Thank you so much.
