India is home to 35 World Heritage Sites, a World Heritage site is classified as a natural or man-made area or a structure that is of international importance, and a space which requires special protection. These sites are officially recognised by the UN and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation, also known as UNESCO. Epic Channel celebrates #WorldHeritageDay in a very “FILMY WAY” Below are the Facts about the heritage Sites mentioned in the video. 1) EpicFacts - Nalanda University: It is believed that 90% of the remains at Nalanda University still remain unexcavated. 2) Epic Facts - Jantar Mantar: Jantar Mantar was used as a logo for the 1982 Asian Games. 3) Epic facts - Adlaj vav: Direct sunlight does not touch the flight of steps or landings except for a brief period at noon.
