If building your own home as amateurs has a steep learning curve, this week was a bit of a rollercoaster as we tried to overcome problems making our own DIY hand poured concrete window sills in preparation for our new tiny house windows. Our cute stone cottage has lots of charm and character, but unfortunately no straight lines and this is where the trouble began! Making mistakes comes hand in hand when building a home with no experience and we've had to accept that. We're quickly learning that the key is to not get too down or frustrated by it, learn from it, pick yourself up and have another go. We can’t afford any further delays as the hot weather is just around the corner and we have some huge home transformations to make before summer arrives at the farm!
