The American Express Platinum card is a great card with many benefits and credits for travelers, but with a $695 annual fee - is the Amex Platinum even worth it? Would you be better off with other credit cards instead, or even the Charles Schwab version of the Platinum card? There are many things that you should consider when looking at the American Express Platinum, including the newly increased annual fee, the $1,400+ of credits that the card offers, the other options out there, and things like that. Because while this credit card has a huge welcome bonus offer right now, that should not be the only reason to get this card. Since I got the Amex Platinum card in early 2021, at the end of this video, I will also be discussing what I plan to do with it in 2022 when the annual fee is due.
