So commonly in this type of patches happen in children when compared to adults, because after puberty there is sebaceous secretion and this prevents excessive dryness. Whereas in kids before puberty the oil activity is not so prominent and hence they are more ****e for dry skin, especially in a climate like Bangalore where the humidity is very less. So the dryness and the patches can happen all throughout they era. So one simple way to control this is to keep the skin hydrated. So how do we do that? Before bath for children apply coconut oil and then give bath and when you are giving bath don’t use a harsh soap or a body bath. Use something milder and keep it hydrated. When you are giving bath don’t use very hot water.
