Tandoori Sauce Chicken
1/2 kg boneless chicken (cubed)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin powder (jeera powder)
1.5 tsp coriander powder (dhania powder)
2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp tandoori chicken masala
1 tbsp keri sambhar ( pickle masala)
1.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste
5 tbsp tomato ketchup
Mustard oil as required
2 pieces of charcoal
1 cup of cream + 1/4 cup milk
Method
Keep the charcoal to heat.
Mix all the above ingredients except the cream and milk. Add some oil , close the lid and cook till the oil separates.
Then add the cream and milk and cook for a further 15 minutes, stirring in between. Once the chicken is cooked, turn off the gas. Place a steel bowl in the pan , put the hot charcoal, drizzle some oil, close the lid and allow the chicken to smoke for 20 minutes. Enjoy with roti, paratha , naan…..
