| Video Discription | I went to a walmart store in Denton , TX to get an oil change on June 1 2016 . After approximately 1 and half hour, they told me that they are denying me the service because they could not drain the oil because of damage in the oil pan. I was waiting there and saw that they were doing something on my car for a long time. I suspected some wrong doing. So, later I checked the oil and the oil was new/clean oil. Moreover, oil was leaking from the pan. So, I realized that Walmart changed may oil and damaged the oil pan. I went to the manger that day and he told that they did not do anything with my car because of the damage. So, I asked them if they did not do anything, how did I get new engine oil on my car?, then they called another supervisor and talked behind the door and came up with another explanation. Then they said that they put a little bit of oil in my car, which is why the oil is clear. When I insisted that the supervisor (a lady) needs to check my car before passing any judgment, she refused to come outside to check the car and asked me to come back next day to talk with her boss. Today ( June 02, 2016) I went there and one of the manager( another lady) checked the car and found that oil was new. But they insisted they poured a little bit of oil, which is why the oil might be clean. They lady then told me that she will look at the video of the servicing and investigate. So, she asked me to come back the next day. I insisted that I will wait in the store until she finishes the video review, she kept telling me that it will talk long time to finish. Then lady wanted to check for the damage and offered to fix it there. So, she asked me to check the car again into the store as” oil change service”. I declined because how can I trust the guys who broke my car. When I demanded independent verification and service for my car, the lady called someone in the higher up. The higher up ( a Man) came and strait told me that they could not do anything without even looking at the issue . When I started asking legitimate questions such as why did they put oil despite they declined the service, he along with other guys there ran away( as you can see in the video) Upoon closer look at the receipt, I see that that the “ Pre- service oil check- checked full” and “ Oil – Complete 5.0” ,which further raises the issue that if my car was full of oil , why did they put oil on it?. Moreover, if my car was already damaged, why did they perform other services that comes with the oil change?. The computerized receipts shows most of the services such oil, battery check, vacuum carpet have been done yet service is “cancelled”. |
