This week, the destructive eruption of Ruang in Indonesia appears to have finally ended. However, at the same time, another volcano in the country known as Ibu now has a risk of producing a major explosive eruption. As a result, thousands of people were evacuated. Meanwhile, the Taal volcano produced an uptick in sulfur dioxide emissions while at the Slamet volcano its exclusion zone was expanded.
