The Youth Assembly is the largest youth conference at the United Nations, the very heart of global change. It is a unique platform which fosters dialogue and generates partnerships between exceptional youth, UN high officials and staff, the private sector, and civil society. The Youth Assembly takes place at the UN Headquarters twice a year to empower youth leaders and young professionals in the implementation of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Youth are ideally placed to champion these goals and carry them into the future— their future. The Youth Assembly is at the focal point of transition, an ideal time and place to prepare youth for their role in the world they are poised to inherit. By not only informing them of issues but also giving them the tools to tackle these issues, the Youth Assembly transforms vision into action as delegates better themselves, their community, and eventually the world. |
