METHOD 2 (SHOP THROUGH CHASE PORTAL): Access this Chase shopping portal through the Ultimate Rewards section of your online account. You can earn bonus points by shopping at hundreds of retailers in addition to the rewards points from your credit card.
HOW TO REDEEM CHASE ULTIMATE REWARDS POINTS
NOTE: ALL Chase credit cards (that are not cobranded) earn Ultimate Rewards points, no matter if theyāre marketed as ācash backā or ātravel.ā
METHOD 1 (CASH BACK)
Redeeming Chase UR points for cash back will yield a flat-rate of 1.0Ā¢ per point (e.g. 10,000 points = $100). All Chase credit cards will give the same rate.
METHOD 2A (TRAVEL PORTAL)
Redeeming your Chase points for travel via the Chase Travel Portal will yield 1 of 3 point values. They might be worth 1.0Ā¢ each, 1.25Ā¢ each, or 1.5Ā¢ each depending on the highest annual fee card you have. Hereās how that works:
- Chase credit cards with NO annual fee = points worth 1.0Ā¢ each
- Chase credit cards with $95 annual fee = points worth 1.25Ā¢ each
- Chase credit cards with $550 annual fee = points worth 1.5Ā¢ each
METHOD 2B (TRAVEL TRANSFER PARTNERS / HOW TO TRANSFER CHASE POINTS TO TRAVEL PARTNERS)
Redeeming your Chase UR points for travel via the Chase Transfer Partners yields an average value of 2.0Ā¢ per point. NOTE: You MUST have a Chase card WITH AN ANNUAL FEE ($95+) in order to get access to transfer partners.
Hereās the current list of Chase travel transfer partners:
Aer Lingus, AerClub
British Airways Executive Club
Emirates Skywards
Flying Blue Air France KLM
Iberia Plus
JetBlue TrueBlue
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards
United MileagePlus
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
IHG Rewards Club
Marriott Bonvoy
World of Hyatt
NOTE 1: These transfer partners are 1:1, meaning 10,000 Chase points = 10,000 air miles or 10,000 hotel points in the partner program.
NOTE 2: You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points TO the travel partners. You cannot transfer airline miles or hotel points back into the Chase UR program.
METHOD 3 (OTHER): Redeem Chase points at Amazon, Apple, for experiences, for gift cards, and for ādeals.ā
HOW TO COMBINE POINTS (HOW TO TRANSFER CHASE FREEDOM POINTS TO SAPPHIRE, ETC.)
The ability to combine / pool your Chase points together is the #1 reason why so many people carry 2, 3, or more Chase cards (itās part of an overall CHASE CREDIT CARD STRATEGY).
You can use Chase Freedom-family cards for their large point multipliers on everyday spend, and boost their redemption value toward travel with your other Chase cards that have an annual fee by simply transferring them over!
NOTE:
You CAN pool points between Chase Personal Credit Cards and Chase Business Credit Cards.
VERDICT (BEST WAY TO REDEEM CHASE ULTIMATE REWARDS POINTS)
