A gold medalist in Nuclear Physics, he began his journey as a writer before turning director with Nuvve Nuvve in 2002. As a writer, he has played a key role in the success of films like Chirunavvutho, Nuvve Kavali, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, and Malleswari. After turning director, he went on to direct several popular films including Athadu, Jalsa, Julayi, Khaleja, Attharintiki Daredhi, A...Aa, AravindhaSametha. His recent film, Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava has become one of the highest grossing films in Telugu cinema, and it is already the biggest hit in NTRJr and Trivikram Srinivas' career.
