The Toyota Veloz makes its entrance known with a completely new appearance. Its eye-catching grill and headlamps, together with its dramatic body lines, make it evident that this is going to be an amazing experience.
The seven-seater subcompact crossover SUV market in the Philippines is being entered by the Toyota Veloz. Even though it has a bolder front fascia and more sophisticated safety features, it still looks a lot like its stablemate, the Avanza. A 1.5-liter normally aspirated gasoline engine powers the Veloz, just like its MPV brother, while a CVT drives the front wheels. Toyota is marketing this car, which comes in two trim levels, as the perfect choice for young professionals and those just starting families.
For additional refinement, the Veloz boasts a unibody design with front MacPherson struts and rear torsion beam suspension. For this model, all four wheels are braked by disc brakes, and an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold feature is also included. The Toyota New Global Architecture platform, or TNGA Platform, is utilized by the Toyota Veloz and its brother, the Avanza. Additionally, the Veloz has 17-inch wheels, which elevates it beyond the standard Avanza. The 1.5-liter 2NR-VE inline-four gasoline engine, which produces 105 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque, is connected to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) under the hood.
A nine-inch touchscreen head unit with USB, Bluetooth, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and six speakers is a feature of the top of the line Veloz V model. It has push start button, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, and Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) with blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, pre-collision system, lane departure alert, and automatic high lights. A 360-degree view camera for simple parking and motorized folding mirrors with puddle lights are further features of the Veloz.
Pre-collision technology, lane departure prevention, and complete airbag activation for the driver, passenger, and side curtains are all included in the standard Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) package.
To differentiate itself from its standard Avanza sister, the Avanza's front end incorporates a honeycomb pattern grille and LED headlights with LED daytime running lights (DRLs). For a more dominating appearance, the Veloz also has roof rails, additional body cladding, and 17-inch wheels. The back of the vehicle is equipped with a rear air dam, LED taillights, and a roof-mounted rear spoiler.
The Veloz adds further elegance above the standard Avanza, with a two-tone interior scheme of black and white, leather and fabric combination seats, and metallic interior accents. There's also an LED ambient lighting system, a seven-inch digital gauge cluster, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with multifunction controls.
In addition to six airbags, the Toyota Veloz has Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), which includes automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, a pre-collision system, rear-cross traffic alert, and lane departure alert.
It also has stability control, parking sensors, an engine immobilizer, an automobile alarm, ISOFIX child seat anchors, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), and stability control.
With lighted information at your fingertips, the Veloz driving experience is a virtual delight. Everything is very responsive and dynamically illuminated for the person in charge.
