| Video Discription | The village of Orlivka, Bessarabia, is surrounded with water. The Danube reed beds wash it from one side and a number of big lakes wash it on the other. The straits get overgrown with reed, covered with silt and it gets flooded. Black buffaloes help to save local ecosystem. The ecologist Michael Jacobi has sent here one of his herds from Zakarpattia. The buffaloes are well adjusted to climate change grazing and cleaning up water from vegetation.
