| Video Discription | Surprisingly! Uttar Pradesh has a beach? Chuka or as popularly called as Chuka beach is on the banks of Sharda Sagar Dam. It is located in Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in Lakhimpur Kheri and Bahraich Districts of Uttar Pradesh and is an hour away from the city of Pilibhit and a couple of hrs from Bareli. The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is one of the finest examples of the exceedingly diverse and productive Terai ecosystems. Pilibhit Tiger Reserve was declared in September 2008 based on its special type of ecosystem with vast open spaces and sufficient feed for the elegant predators. It is the India’s 45th Tiger Reserve Project. The northern edge of the reserve lies along the Indo-Nepal border while the southern boundary is marked by the river Sharada and Khakra. The place renders splendid isolation to travelers seeking off the beaten path. The ecotourism and the forest department have built a bamboo hut right on water, a tree house facing the reservoir and 4 thatched huts which are called Tharu huts. This is an ideal place to practice the art of doing nothing. You have seen me UNTRAVEL the world, one story at a time.
