This video highlights the Tokaido Shinkansen, which has service from Tokyo to Shin-Osaka Station. There is an entire new area for northbound bulletin trains! There is always constant activity at the platforms with trains coming in and leaving about every 5 minutes. Taken just before new years, there are extra trains and it is especially busy as people take trains down to Osaka for praying at its many temples.
