Recovering from lip problems, on tour in England, his new wife Alfa, he had just fired his manager Johnny Collins who had gone back to the States with most of Louis' money, without paying the alimony to his second wife Lil. Louis was then booked by the agency of British bandleader Jack Hylton for tours in Holland and Scandinavia. In Denmark in 1933 Louis and his band were filmed in some vaudeville show called "Kopenhagen, Kalundberg, og". These were probably the first filmclips of Louis Armstrong |
