East Khasi Hills SP Rituraj Ravi said the issue was an argument and minor scuffle over parking on the road on Friday night. Seven people are reported to have been injured in the melee and have been taken to the hospital for medical treatment. The matter is being inquired into by the police and adequate security arrangements have been put in place in the area.
