| Video Discription | The first day, according to Genesis, started with the creation of light. But on the fourth day, our sun was created. This sequence always bothered me. The desire to understand this unusual sequence led me to the simple truth about the firmament and our universe. The Heavens and Earth were created before the firmament. It is full of light, where the days consist of an evening and morning light. Unfortunately, we can’t see this light due to the firmament. The firmament was an addon to the heavens and earth. Darkness exists in the firmament. The only sun God ever created is in the firmament and its purpose is to provide light to the darkened portion of earth and to rule the day. This was done on the fourth day. The firmament is not necessary for life. Life exists outside the firmament and is waiting for redeemed man to populate it. If the firmament and the celestial lights were removed, you would see more of the heavens and earth, minus the darkness. |
