| Video Discription | With a regional release in 1982, and an expanded one in 1983, The House on Sorority Row was met with negative reviews initially, but has garnered a cult following over the years by genre fans. Pointless remake was made in 2009. This was one of a few college themed slashers referenced in Scream 2. When an old, domineering sorority house mother will not allow a graduation party at the sorority house, the girls who live there decide to pull a prank on her and have the party anyway. When the party takes a horrible, fatal left turn, they choose to hide the body until after the party. Only it appears the house mother isn't dead, or finished with them yet, as the girls are killed off during their own party. |
