| Video Discription | The newest fad amongst charismatics is to call themselves “Demon Slayers,” similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They engage in spiritually dangerous practices, such as calling forth demons and commanding demons to obey them. They twist Scripture to say that they are casting out demons as Jesus did, and to claim they have authority to decree, declare, command, and bind. But what they’re really creating is chaos and confusion, as well as spiritual abuse. They tell people that their illnesses and problems will vanish if they have their demons slayed, and they use Jesus’ name like a magical incantation.
