LIVING ROOM - TEGRIDY FARMS - DAY Randy and Towelie are sitting at the couch smoking Christmas Special and making labels for new jars - they are pretty coked out. RANDY (takes a drag, then-) Our Christmas special is so amazing. I don't know how we're gonna keep up with all the demand! TOWELIE I know! I know! I can't print labels fast enough! RANDY We need to get more help we're never gonna get enough done in time! HEY SHELLEY HEY SHELLEY HEY SHELLEY! His POV - Shelley appears in the doorway to his right. SHELLEY WHAT?! RANDY HEY SHELLEY CAN YOU HELP US MAKE LABELS FOR THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL?! SHELLEY NO I'M not helping you with your stupid blow!!! Shelley storms off. RANDY Oh great. My daughter had a marijuana problem and now she has a problem with cocaine. A loud BANG at the front door doesn't really sound like a knock. RANDY Ahp, that must be more customers! Randy crosses to the door. From outside the house we see Randy opening the door just as a county worker is putting a chain with a sign in front of his door. One worker is KNOCKING by hammering in the chain with a nail. The sign says 'CLOSED UNTIL JANUARY 2' RANDY What the hell is this? The county worker stands up. COUNTY WORKER New ordinance has been passed by the county. No Marijuana sales until after the holidays. RANDY Hey! Fuck you! Who has that kind of power?! COUNTY WORKER Look I just do what I'm told, man. Happy Holidays. He walks away as Randy tries to walk past the chain still holding his joint. RANDY Hey but-- You can't do this!!!! Back inside the house Randy rushes up to Towelie. RANDY They just shut down our business! TOWELIE What are you talking about?! RANDY We can't sell marijuana during the holidays. TOWELIE What are we gonna do?! Randy walks towards camera. RANDY We can't give up on the Christmas special. People NEED it. I think I know a way around this. EXT. SNOW COVERED TEGRIDY FIELDS - DAY The camera flies above the snowy crops (basically the first shot of the Tegridy open but with snow) and ACOUSTIC GUITAR MUSIC PLAYS. NARRATOR There's somethin' about the holiday season. SHOT - Towelie on the Tegridy Farms sign with a candy cane (the white elephant shot) He smiles and waves at camera. NARRATOR Folks seem a little nicer... The days a little more special. SHOT - Parents on a couch watching their kids run around the Christmas tree with toys. NARRATOR And sometimes we all need a little pick me up but without any added ingredients. Product placement shot - A jar from Tegridy farms floating towards camera.
