| Video Discription | In this video, screenwriter Christine Conradt shares her story of working at the YMCA and being granted (yet another) promotion with excellent pay. Since she had completed a 4-year degree at USC film school and her real love was writing, she took the potential promotion offer home and returned to work the following day with her 2 weeks notice. Christine’s promise to herself was to take out a line of credit for 6 months and live life as a writer. In this video she shares what happens and how she made use of her time during this risky, 6 month period. Christine fully acknowledges how risky this was for her financially but at the same time necessary for her life, knowing not everyone has done it successfully and (unfortunately) is left with extreme debt.
