| Video Discription | 🇺🇸 One of the most common factors addressed to Periimplantitis is the microleakage produced by the micromovement of our abutments and implant connections (can you see it in the Video?) To avoid that, conical connections such as Cone Morse or Morse Taper depending on the degrees (from 3-5) creat a "cold weld" effect between the implant platform and the Ti Abutment which forms a seal preventing the bacterial growth. In addition to this, a subcrestal position of our implants (subcrestal systems) will allow bone formation over them and a more stable and protected periimplant tissues. Con el objetivo de eliminar este problema, aquellos sistemas que incorporan conexiones cónicas (Cono Morse o Morse Taper) en función de los grados que tengan (3-5) generarán una fricción en frío entre las plataformas de nuestros implantes y nuestros aditamentos protésicos sellando y previniendo la contaminación y proliferación bacteriana. Si además le añadimos una posición subcrestal de nuestro implante (en sistemas subcrestales) promoveremos la formación de hueso sobre la plataforma, ayudando mediante aposición a la estabilidad del tejido periimplantar.
