Materials: Black Sakura Micron 02 2B short length Graphite Pencil Tortillon or paper stump for blending White 3.5” square Zentangle Tile Core Zentangle is created using black ink on a white Zentangle tile or good quality paper. I recommend to use the best quality paper you can get hold of as this makes a big difference to your creative experience. Using black on white sets an “Elegance of Limits” which, paradoxically, leads to a calmer, more relaxed tangling experience and creative inspiration. The Zentangle Method is a fun, easy to learn and mindful way to create lovely images by drawing structured patterns. I would recommend that beginners seek out a Certified Zentangle Teacher and take an Introduction to Zentangle class. Many of us teach online or have recorded classes, so you can access a class wherever you live. This will give you a really good understanding of how to create Zentangle and a confident base upon which to explore your own Zentangle journey.
