| Video Discription | A local man invited me to a small village in Tamil Nadu (South India) to attend a Hindu Festival (Mulaipari Festival / முளைப்பாரி திருவிழா). This village only had about 20 houses! So small! The festivities were quite interesting. They did a lot of singing and dancing. One dance in particular was intended to attract rain, and well, it did! Rain came within about 1 hour. It rained heavily for about 40 minutes - which made it difficult to serve lunch to everyone. After the rain subsided, everyone walked to a local pond where the sprout offerings were placed in to. It was definitely an interesting day!
