| Video Discription | I've always wanted to have a Barbie that looks at least a little similar to me. See, I am in no way close to how the usual Barbies look like. I'm a Filipina but I'm often mistaken to be either Chinese, Korean or Japanese. 😂 I have about 1/4 Japanese blood though (but that's for a different #storytime 😁). I recently got the curvy made to move Barbie and I was only satisfied with the body. I also find both my previous and new made to move Barbie heads to be a little too big especially when they're side by side with my 40th Anniversary Ken doll (my hubby's mini me). . More than a week ago, during my birthday, I was randomly browsing through an online shopping site and chanced upon a 1/6 scale head sculpt. Apparently it was meant for "action figures". I was hesitant at first but I saw how this particular head somehow resembles me in real life and the sculpt really looks "hyper realistic". And so I gave in. The head arrived today. The quality I must say is superb and I couldn't be more excited and nervous to change my curvy made to move Barbie's head. I wasn't able to film the entire process because I was too afraid that I might break the peg of the doll's head. Fortunately, with the help of some Youtube videos, I was able to remove Barbie's head without breaking it BUT.... I also ended up breaking the tip of the peg ON PURPOSE to fit the new head (it's smaller than Barbie's). So now I present to you my new "mini me". .
