Ingredients: Rice Flour - 1/2 cup Powdered Jaggery - 1/2 cup Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp Ghee - 1 tsp (optional) Oil - For greasing Salt - A pinch Method: 1. Take a pan, add 1 cup water and allow it to heat. 2. Then add ½ cup powdered jaggery and mix well until the jaggery dissolves in the water. 3. Now add a pinch of salt, ¼ tsp cardamom powder, ¼ cup grated coconut and mix well. 4. Then keep the flame low, slowly add rice flour and mix well without forming any lumps. 5. This will become one ball once everything is mixed. 6. Add 1 tsp ghee (optional) and mix well. 7. Now allow the mixture to cool down before you make them into kozhukattai shape. 8. Now grease your hand, take small balls and make an oblong shape. 9. Then arrange all the kozhukattais in the steamer, cover and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until the kozhukattais turn glossy. 10. Sweet Pidi Kozhukattai is ready to serve. Serve with Love |
