| Video Discription | Art has always been considered something beyond the barriers of entertainment, a powerful medium of self-expression. Every art form communicates with the artist and in-turn, artists communicate with people via their art. But majorly, filmmakers and performers portray hypothetical characters' emotions, making it seem real. In this labyrinth of sentiments, is an artist ever able to reveal and live his/her true self? The talk takes us through some of the cherished and beautiful moments in Swanandi’s life and through the hard times that changed her outlook towards life. Swanandi unfolds her life journey as she grew, explored and communicated with herself through art. She shares how various art forms as mediums to express herself helped her find her way back to life through thick and thin, overcoming the ups and downs. Change has been the only constant factor in her life. She was not profusely fond of change, but it proved to be a stepping stone in her personality building. An unexpected turn, a bad phase, and unfavourable conditions restored her belief in the fact that it all ultimately came down to her mindset. Deeply disheartened, yet filled with optimism and hope, she fought back stronger. Setting her career in the entertainment industry as an instance, Swanandi focuses on the fact that whatever happens as one wades through the river of life happens for a purpose. From being a young artist and the active member of a college cultural group who has now made it to the big screen, Swanandi enhances the importance of choosing her passion as her profession. This talk unveils the journey of finding her true self. Following her passion for theatre and music, she aspires to inspire many and teach them the language of self love, hard work, confidence and belief. Swanandi Tikekar is an eminent actor, artist and singer. From creating magic behind the big screen to charming all and sundry with her euphonious voice- her versatility remains sublime. She debuted in acting with serial Abhalmaya as a child actor and continued to put forth captivating performances for the famous sitcom, Dil Dosti Duniyadari. Well-known for hosting in the popular television show, Indian Idol Marathi, the singer is known to astonish her audience with her soothing voice. Owing to her constant soulful performances, Swanandi has also won the first season of the famous reality show, Singing Star.
