He sells chorizo, ham, migas and bean and cheese breakfast tacos as well as traditional carne asada, al pastor and barbacaoa street tacos to his clientele in South Austin. Jose, who came from Michoacan Mexico 28 years ago to make a living in America, describes working at his father’s butcher shop as a kid and how his childhood built his strong work ethic. Jose shares his humor and his love of the United States, and his customers talk about why it’s hard to find a better breakfast taco than El Primo’s.
