However, It's a moment in time many fans may not know about. On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier in Brooklyn as the first Black player in the Major Leagues. On July 20, 1947, the St. Louis Browns had their own moment to make history by breaking another barrier. On that day at Sportsman's Park in a game against the Boston Red Sox, the Browns became the first team in MLB history to field a lineup with two Black players in it.
