| Video Discription | In a big blow to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government the Calcutta High Court on monday made a significant ruling, nullifying the entire 2016 recruitment panel for school teachers formed by the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSCC) due to a job scam. In a decisive move, the court has scrapped nearly 24,000 job appointments. This verdict comes as a response to the tainted selection process of the State Level Selection Test-2016 (SLST) conducted for government-sponsored and aided schools in West Bengal. Previously Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee faced questioning by the Enforcement Directorate in October 2023 regarding the alleged school jobs scam in West Bengal.
