It's best to stick with water or oil based lubes. If you are planning on wearing the tail for a longer period of time it's best to use a water based lube. While the tail is inside your butt the water gets absorbed and this helps lock in the tail making it less likely to come out. If you are worried your tail may pop out make sure you check out the tail adaptor you use with a harness to help keep the tail in place. Hint!
