| Video Discription | #ribbonpakoda #garlicribbonpakoda #pakoda #pakkavada #radhisCuisines Garlic Ribbon Pakoda / Spicy Pakoda / Pakkavada 1 cup Rice flour (Appam/Idiyappam) 3 cups Gram flour/Besan 3/4th cup or more water 1/2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder 5 medium garlic cloves peeled and finely grated 2-3 sprigs of Curry leaves chopped 1/8th tsp asafoetida or a large pinch Salt as required Oil for deep frying Heat oil in a deep kadai or saucepan. Combine rice flour, besan, garlic, chilli, curry leaves, asafoetida and salt. Add water little at a time and knead to make a soft chapati like dough. Take a portion of the dough, fill it on the pakoda maker/Sevanazhi. Close with lid, directly press it on the hot oil on a circular motion. Deep fry by flipping halfway until golden brown and crispy. Drain them on a paper towel lined plate. When it cools down, cut into small pieces. Transfer the pakodas to an airtight container. Serve with tea or coffee.
