Whatever the outcome you are a good parent. You are not to blame. You don't need to feel ashamed. There are good people out there to help and your job is simply to work with them and set your child up for success (whatever that looks like for them!) *Just a note. there are circumstances (Like an autism diagnosis) where getting help simply could not have changed his trajectory as much as I was able to and I would still be a good mom.
