There are a number of versions of rava laddu recipe and each version has its own unique flavor. The one I have chosen to prepare is using freshly grated coconut. laddu recipes are common sweet recipes during festival season and rava laddu is one such sweet recipe. unlike other indian ladoo’s, it requires only few main ingredients. basically it is prepared with roasted semolina, coconut, sugar and dry fruits. Ingredients Rava/Sooji-1 cup heaped Freshly grated coconut- 1 cup heaped Sugar- 1 3/4 cup Ghee-1/2 cup Cashew- as required Raisins-as required Cardamom powder-little Notes 1.Use coarse rava/Sooji for making laddu so as to get the crunchy and great flavour 2.Use fresh grated coconut to get the real flavour. 3.Ghee must be added so that laddu comes to make easily in sucha way can skip milk. 4. Addition of milk reduces the shelf life. 5. Make sure to roast all in dry flame so rava doesnt get burnt. 6.Need to make sure to do balls when its hot so it will be easy. 7.This holds good for a week as we haven't added any milk to it. 8.Perfecy and easy to prepare sweet for any Occasions.
