Ingredients:
sooji (semolina) - 1 cup
sugar - 1 cup
water - 4 cups
ghee - 1/2 cup
powdered green cardamom - 1/4 tsp (optional for good aroma)
almonds - 3 to 4 pieces to garnish
cashew nuts - 25 gms
raisins - 25 gms
lemon yellow color - a pinch (optional)
instructions:
1. roast the sooji or semolina in ghee or oil.
2. add sugar, cardamom powder, and water
3. add some additional ghee if required
4. stir until required consistency then add roasted cashews nuts, raisins, almonds |
