| Video Discription | Bennett-Bellamy was shocked when she found out she had breast cancer. She was diagnosed with it in May 2023 and underwent surgery the following July. Unbeknownst to her, breast cancer ran heavily on her father’s side of the family. Two of Bennett-Bellamy’s aunts passed away due to breast cancer. But she was determined to have a different outcome. Through a double mastectomy, the cancer was successfully removed. After going through that surgery, Bennett-Bellamy was very surprised at the advances that have been made in the areas of breast cancer recovery and reconstruction. |
