An email from a senior Andrews government bureaucrat – obtained by The Australian under Freedom of Information laws – categorised people into five categories based on their responses to the pandemic. The fifth category described people who opposed the lockdowns as “embracing fantastical conspiracy theories”. “This shows there was a deliberate strategy of the Daniel Andrews government to divide Victorians based on their political views and their values,” Mr Wild told Sky News contributor Steve Price. “It was a divide and conquer strategy and they used that to scapegoat certain people who were speaking out against lockdowns." |
