| Video Discription | Every SIMD code sample is the same: matrix multiplication. And indeed, SIMD instructions are a huge improvement for mathematical calculations. Linear algebra, FFT, signal processing, cryptography all have extensive use of SIMD. However, there are several SIMD instructions for different operations. This talk is about SIMD comparison instructions and how to use them. We will show these instructions in well known algorithms like binary search, n-way tree search and an ASCII to_lower implementation. |
